Attorney Melissa E. Simondi is an Associate of Bleecker Family Law, a Charleston law practice focused exclusively in the area of family law, including divorce, paternity, custody, child support, and other related matters.
Melissa has been immersed in the world of Family Law since she was 16 years old, where her first job was as a legal assistant to John B. White, Jr. After working under Attorney White for two years, she then joined The Cate Law Firm, where she spent the next four years as a legal assistant to Ruth Cate. Melissa continued working with Attorney Cate until her graduation from Wofford College in 2012. Awarded a Merit Scholarship from the Charleston School of Law, Melissa graduated with a Juris Doctorate in 2016. During her time at the Charleston School of Law, she served on the Executive Board of the Maritime Society and clerked for the Seibels Law Firm on Broad Street.

Melissa is an active member of the Charleston County Bar, the South Carolina Bar, and the South Carolina Women’s Lawyers Association. Melissa is also a certified Guardian Ad Litem.
She is active in the community, working with Lowcountry Lab Rescue, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and Charleston Pro Bono. When Melissa is not at work, she enjoys traveling, being on the water, and driving fast cars.
