Meet Our Team: Grace D. Bossolini
From a very young age, Grace Bossolini has believed in the power of compassion and the value of hard work. Those beliefs have helped shape her into a trusted partner, advisor and friend for our clients and staff. We are thrilled that Grace has found her way to Bleecker Family Law.
How did you find your way to Bleecker Family Law?
Originally from Troy, New York, just outside of Albany, Grace grew up vacationing in Hilton Head Island. These special moments with friends and family created an early, but very special, connection to the Lowcountry.
That connection eventually called her back to South Carolina, where she earned her undergraduate degree from Wofford College in Spartanburg and, later, fell in love with Charleston School of Law.
What inspired you to pursue a career in family law?
“I first began by figuring out what to practice,” shared Grace. “I started work at another family law firm in Charleston, and I was blown away to see how many different factors could affect family law cases.”
This early exposure to the complexities of family law is what initially captured Grace’s interest in the field. From custody and alimony to family dynamics and deeper feelings, this family attorney knew she wanted to be the kind of person who could help clients feel at peace as they navigated these complex situations.
That opportunity to connect and help others is Grace’s greatest motivator.
“I like getting to know people on a deep, personal level. More people navigate family law than you often realize, and even still, each case can be so personal and unique. Clients might feel unable to talk about their challenges with just anyone because of this.”
“I always want to be someone my clients can talk to.“
In a field where clients often come in during some of their most challenging moments, Grace values the trust that comes with those conversations.
“Law teams should be the people worrying about the case. Clients should be focused on the important things, like their relationships and personal well-being. That is the environment we are creating at Bleecker Family Law.”
What does a “good day” look like? What motivates you?
For Grace, no two days look the same, and that is exactly what she enjoys most. Mornings typically begin with a team meeting, where attorneys review priorities, discuss cases, and collaborate on strategy. From there, her day may include time in court, conversations with clients, and working through the details that move cases forward.
“There are not many days when I am just sitting in my office. It is very collaborative.”
That collaboration extends beyond the office walls. Whether she is working with clients, her team, or other attorneys, Grace values the opportunity to connect and problem-solve in real time.
“Above all, I hope my clients feel they are in good hands,” Grace shared. “Our team is incredible in its ability to work as one. I want my clients to know that, even if I do not have an answer at first, your question will not go unanswered.”
What is the most common advice you give to your clients? What advice would you give to your younger self?
“Focus on yourself. Be aware, but let the lawyers handle it. Understand the process and your rights.”
While family law cases can feel all-consuming, Grace encourages her clients to maintain perspective. Staying informed while allowing their legal team to handle the details helps create space for clients to focus on themselves.
Her advice to herself can also help clients navigate the challenges they will face together.
“Work hard. Nothing can stop you from doing what you want to do. Remember, you deserve to be in every room you walk into.”
How do you spend your time outside the office?
Outside of the practice, Grace and her husband enjoy exploring Charleston, trying new restaurants and taking walks with their goldendoodle and labradoodle. Grace is also getting much more into reading (beyond legal paperwork, that is).
