Originally from San Luis Potosí, Mexico, Julissa Ruiz Yata brings a strong background in both family and immigration law to her role as a legal assistant at Bleecker Family Law. After moving to Austin, Texas, she earned her Business Office Specialist Certificate and began her legal career assisting clients with immigration matters before transitioning into family law.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Julissa is passionate about using her bilingual skills to help members of the Hispanic community navigate the legal system with clarity and confidence. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her daughter, family, and toy poodle, Bella.
